● @catmarie69 Was kinda foggy and hazy tonight, so didn't get as much fireworks show as I usually do, but got some at least.
● Watching fireworks displays off in the distance from my 18th-floor window.
● Did paid work today. Had the most surreal experience... got into a minivan with a stranger and ended up making 24 bucks... Sweet!
● Wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th of July weekend.
● Would really like to get to know my gay cousin. Thinking about him a lot since we reconnected on Facebook.
● Landlady wants to offer me a 2-year lease renewal. So far, so good. Next hurdle is finding out her asking rent and seeing if it's agreeable.
● Saw a guy walking a little brown pig today, right on a residential city street! Now I'm feeling a bit guilty for eating bacon the other day.
● Had to smile at Thai Grill today... young Asian guy at the next booth pointed to the menu and asked the server how to pronounce "Phuket".
● Chilly start to July here... temps only reached 65 degrees and it was drizzly much of the day. I'm not complaining... I prefer mild weather.
● Watched a half-hour E!TV special on MJ and Farrah tonight. Show was almost entirely about MJ; poor Farrah got only 3 min. coverage at end.
