● Today's Little Italy excursion: Penne alla Siciliana at Francesca's on Taylor, then picking up two more boxes of Torrone at Conte Di Savoia.
● Headed to Little Italy (Taylor Street) to have pasta for lunch and maybe track down some more Torrone.
● Thunderstorm going on right now. They still make me nervous even after all these years.
● Philip Markoff's fiancée: "He couldn't hurt a fly." Makes you wonder how well you really know anyone, even those closest to you.
● My "online name", according to yet another silly Facebook quiz, is "SteamyBody90"... I like it!

● Just ordered three books on LOA from Amazon.
● Geez. Can you tell I'm a bit cranky today?
● Another pet peeve: People who text while walking down the street and don't watch where they're going, nearly causing a collision.
● Attention Panhandlers: You might have better luck if you don't get all up in a person's face. Respect the space of others, please.
● Got caught in the brief mini-hailstorm this afternoon. Fortunately there was a doorway to duck into until it passed.
