I just shaved my own hair. And I'm not talking a snippet. I took an electric hair shaver and I let it fly. I've been thinking of my self-appearance for future job interviews lately, and although I can't help how my personality is, I can change my physical appearance. I really hate how my hair has looked, so I went to the tub to start shaving hair. Especially the back of it. It's not that I can't afford to get a barber to do it but I want to shave it my own way and my brother has been shaving his own hair for a while with nice results. So for the first half hour, I was really pissed off because I butchered my hair really badly. My hair was an uneven mess. But evenutally, I managed to make it look good. Yesterday, I received an e-mail from a job recruiter asking me for an interview. Again, I believe it is a batch mailing, so I'm not highly enthusiastic about it. Besides, it's a job recruiter, not a job. It's just someone looking for potential candidates. In other words, just a middle man looking out for his own bottom line and dosen't really care about your future.
But of course, I will give him a call nevertheless. Anything to get a good job right?
So here's how my week is going to shape into:
#Waiting to receive call if I got the job at Crunch Fitness Co. or not.
#Schedule interview with an internet start up company for Administrative assistant.
#Schedule interview with job recruiter.
I really really really really want that job at Crunch Fitness! I should send them a thank you card for interviewing me. Maybe that'll help. But that's just an assumption.
Lastly, I'm going to buy some art supplies because I'm going to draw comic strip samples and send them to a syndicate so it got a chance to appear in newspapers and I can work as a comic strip writer for a living. When I was in the junior high school, I wrote a speech about how I want to draw comic strips for a living. And I still do. That would be my ultimate dream job. Getting paid for something I like to do, getting feedback, and making people laugh as well as myself.
Tommorow's journal I'll update on my job search quest.
And it goes on...
