Hiya!
Well here's a lil background info on yours trully.
I'm a 20 year old female from Canada.
I'm a practicing Witch. (yes that says witch, and no I don't fly on a broom, I use my Suzuki Sidekick for transport ^_^)
I like to write, read, listen to music, and sleep.
I don't have many friends, It's better to have a few REALLY good friends than a bunch of superficial 'friends'
I'm single, and plan to stay that way...love is highly over-rated and it often hurts more then it pleasures.
I'm depressed just like every other young adult (I mean really who ISN'T?) but I do have a sarcasic/cynical type of humour...so yeah there ya go, that's me in a nutshell
Oh and I'm an anime freak!
Anything else? Well just write and let me know and I'll fill you in.Basically this journal will let me express some issues I deal with, and give updates on my internet ways (like intended fanfic updates, website updates and the like)

I just updated my fic, Chapter 4 is finally up...

24 May 2002 - Throat Swabs....Then off to the Airport

Hiya everyone...
I leave for my backpacking trip in Europe in 5 days...and I have a MAJOR sore throat...But I went to the doctors yesterday, here let me outline it for you:
1.Drive 30mins to the doctor's clinic
2.Stand in line as some woman chats up the male nurse
3.Finally get my name on the waiting list
4.Get evil glares from the lady with the kid who ran into a brick wall (I over heard her talking)
5.Finally have to nurse write up my file
6.Continue to wait
7.Get moved to a room, and wait
8.Doctor finally arrives (he was cool, old guy but funny)
9.Doctor shines light into my ears (odd cuz my throat was sore *shrugs* ^_^)
10.Doctor shines light into my mouth
11.Doctor chokes me (checking if my neck is swollen)
12.Doctor sits me down and proceeds to cram a q-tip down my throat (don't you love those throat swabs?)
13.Doctor tells me to go have a beer (I'm serious he said that)
14.Wait at the lab to give in my swab
15.Finally leave the clinic (still gagging mind you..)So I hope it's not Strep or something...cuz I REALLY don't want to be sick on my trip.... I'll try and write while I'm on my trip...if I can find time.
