So.. My doctor prescribed me Ambien to be taken once I hit the 100 mg of the lamictal. I took that last night...WHOA NELLY!!! People should go to JAIL when they take that. Like frigging acid. Good god! I slept better, I THINK, but I didn't dream at all. This is the chain of events.. I took my dose of Lamictal and the Ambien. I crawled into bed and got comfy. All of a sudden I felt very heavy and floaty at the same time. I swear to god that the ceiling fan started to breath or flex its fan blades at me. The light cover started to swirl a little and kind of change light colours. I saw a bit of reddish in it and thought it was a little creature.. This is the offending ceiling fan.I am NOT kidding people. This is how I remember it!!! Then I sat up a little and looked at the foot of the bed. We have a beautiful mahogany armoire. Dryad infested armoire.First of all it looked like it was breathing. Parts of it would slide a little back and forth and tilt. I felt like I was on a boat a little. Then I started seeing SHAPES in the oval inset wood. You can see that wood colour is darker and much more swirly. Lends itself well to hallucinations. I saw implied shapes of people and animals. They weren't very detailed, but I knew when it was a person or an animal. I think my mind filled in the blanks. Wayne called them dryads. I lay back after a little while and informed Wayne that I was having hallucinations. I think he turned off the lights before that, but I told him to turn them back on.. Partly because I was freaked out, but a little because I wanted to WATCH, LOL. When I woke up this morning I remembered it like a dream and had to text Wayne to ask if I had told him I was hallucinating. He told me I was, and when I mentioned the people in the wood that's when he called them dryads. Bizarre!! Tonight we're celebrating Wayne and our friend Traci's BDays. She's coming in a but to take me to the doctor for a blood draw to check my liver levels again as well as the nail salon, and I'll take her to lunch to say thank you. Can't wait until I'm allowed to drive again.
