Mud and water

Nope, I have not vanished up my own backside! ETFC Boy is alive and well, getting over his PC problems and enjoying life with Enfield Town FC. Since I last wrote, the games at Stony Stratford Town and Leyton have taken place. In the first I got mud all over my trainers and jeans and everywhere in their social club; the latter game I got drenched to the skin.The Leyton game will be replayed because the ref decided it should be called off at half time when we were losing 2-0. No great loss there then. I'm undecided as to if my heart is in the GBMT at all. It's only pride that makes us want to beat Leyton and go on and win the thing. Their supporters stood in the rain and wind and cheered them on in the puddles. Great support from their DECENT fans. GB (the real GB) has left Aldershot Town. GB (the hairy GB) has been off his food since he saw today's NLP and has been moping down in the shed all day. Can't help feeling sorry for the mutt, but I doubt he will be coming to Enfield Town as a no2 to Jim Chandler. Sorry GB (real and hairy).
