The Rwandan Genocide was the 1994 mass killing of hundreds of thousands of Rwanda's Tutsis and Hutu political moderates by Hutus under the Hutu Power ideology. Over the course of approximately 100 days, from the assassination of Juvénal Habyarimana on 6 April up until mid July, at least 500,000 people were killed. Most estimates indicate a death toll between 800,000 and 1,000,000. Economic Crisis in Florida Florida has been hit particularly hard by the recession. It's facing its worst unemployment rate since 1976, with nearly one in ten people out of work, and it has the second-highest foreclosure rate in the country. State of the Gazan economy, where unemployment and poverty rates are among the highest in the world. Despite international pledges of over $5.2 billion to rebuild Gaza, in the four months since Israel's assault the siege has not been lifted and only one truck carrying cement and other construction materials has been allowed entry into the Gaza Strip. Fast & Furious, the fourth installment of the octane-obsessed franchise, scored the highest spring debut of all time by revving up $72.5 million, according to studio estimates from Nielsen EDI.Featuring the movie's original stars, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, the movie opened at $30 million more than many analysts projected and set a spate of records, including the highest opening for a movie in the first four months of the year. The previous best was 300, which opened to $70.9 million in March 2007.
