Hello to all of my friends, those of you in real life and those of you in cyber space.
I can't promise that I won't touch a nerve now and then while venting and relieving my frustrations. This is my safe place, the place where I can be real.
As it stands now, I'm a 28 year old wife and mother of three. I'm on maternity leave from my job as an Optometric Assistant, and due to go back in November 2007. Whether or not I return is to be seen, but that's another story.
My husband is also 28, and my rock, my soul mate, my best friend. We've been through a lifetime of trials and tribulations already, so we're hanging in for the rest and best of our lives together. We've survived financial troubles, infidelity, illness, alcoholism and depression among our everyday struggles. To some people, any or all of these things would have been the end of their marriage, and it almost was for us too. But we stuck it out, and have grown even closer. I still get tingles when I look at him. We are a team, a united front. And that's how I love it.
My children are the light of my life. I have a ten year old son, a seven year old daughter, and on October 28th 2006 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. He's the little one who snuck in just in time, my husband had a vasectomy on February 24th and on February 25th I found out we were expecting. Talk about 'meant to be'.
So that's a brief insight into my life.
