29 Jun 2009 - Yeah...I soooooo dislike numbers....
So, I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to play with numbers...and just for the record...numbers don't play well.
I always did great in math in school, but now that I am all grown up, I seriously HATE numbers. I don't want to work with them, add them, subtract them, squeeze them into a financial forecast....I just want to pretend they don't exist.
But I do love letters. I love letters on my keyboard, in poems, on Wheel of Fortune, in books, on billboards....
How did I end up getting stuck with this job? Oh yeah....I remember now.

Last week I had a doll of a lady who was 93 years old. I asked her how she got to be that old and she said she eats a salad everyday.
Today I had another lady who was 94 and I asked her how SHE got to be her age and she said she eats fish almost everyday.
So by my calculations.....if I started eating fish AND salad everyday I will live to be at least 187 years old.
I'm not sure what is going on with the world this past week, but I'm pretty sure we are all heading for Hell in a hand basket...seriously, WTF is going on? So much death and illness....today alone my mother found out a friend of the family passed away, my brother-in-law's uncle had a heart attack and died at the hospital AND a friend of my sister called that she was on her way home, her Dad had a heart attack and was in ICU....
It seems as though I'll need a garden and a fishing rod if I hope to see Sunday.
Hubby is coming home tomorrow night. And Wednesday is Canada Day, so we'll have a nice day off together. I have to remember to hit up the liquor store before it closes tomorrow night. I have such a busy day at work, no breaks at all, I'll have to go after work.
Ummm...Ty has hit the terrible twos again this week. Defiant. That is the only way to describe his behavior...thank heavens his Daddy will be here soon. I'm running out of steam.
Keeper had her first trip to the groomers today. OMFG she was adorable when I picked her up! I tried to get pictures of her but Daughter let her outside upon our arrival at home, and our cute clean pooch turned to a muddy catastrophe instantly.
It has been raining here forever. We surely must have broken all previous records for rainfall since the beginning of time. See? The world IS falling apart....
Alright, I must get myself to bed. My body is pooped.
Wait....one more thing....I found a great video for hypnotizing yourself on youtube. Make sure you have 4 minutes of quiet time without interruptions before you watch it...pretty cool.
