I've been terrible at updating this thing lately. Time flies when you are in a frenzy.Hubby has been home for the week, he leaves first thing in the morning to go back to work. It is expected that this will be the last of his travelling for a while, but only time will tell us for sure.
We found the perfect location for our new store. Perfect...until the crazy lady who owns the property came off a little strong and left a bad taste in our mouth. So we walked.
I found another location, without the high traffic of the first, but that owner is being quite difficult as well. She wants us to offer her an amount that we'd pay for rent. WTF? I asked how much she expected and the terms of the lease, and she basically just stalled and asked what I thought was fair. Ughhh...
So, we are still looking.
We did get some stuff accomplished though. Not 'we' as much as 'he'. Hubby has been on a tear and gutted our furnace room and outdoor buildings. He's burning the last of the cardboard as we speak. It feels nice now, uncluttered...
The baby has been sick again, this time with tummy troubles. He's had diarrhea for a few days and he's not eating much. He's drinking though, and my trained eyes are watching for any signs of dehydration, and thankfully he's doing okay, tired of pooping, but okay.
We went to the shelter yesterday and had a look at some dogs. I know, eh? What is wrong with me. I found a little lady that told me she'd like to move to our house, but her owner was supposed to come in Thursday and pay her fines. I told her that if he didn't show, I'd come back to get her. 3 kids, 3 cats, 3 dogs ONLY makes sense....
And. I want a horse.
So there.
