I'm sure everyone is as frustrated with my "I'm selling. No I'm not. I'm moving. No, I'm staying." dialogue as much as I am lately...But just for shits and giggles, I figured you'd all like to come along on this week's "Yeah, we're selling" adventure.
This is the home that we are putting an offer on today.
I drove by yesterday and loved it. I went for a viewing today and loved it even more.
I thought that a split entry wouldn't appeal to me, but this one feels a little different, I'm really happy with the layout and design. And the best part is that there's a room with outside access that I can run a shop out of if I so desire....
It's about 20 minutes from where we live now. The kids would move schools, my shop would close, and live would involve a new town's address. But it is a 10 minute drive from the beach, and it's on a brook, and it's rural-enough for my liking, yet close to everything.
Hubby is, again, comfortable enough in my opinion to buy a house, sight-unseen...
There are a few negatives, no garage, or even ANY outbuildings for that matter...no fenced-in yard...the basement ceilings were never finished....
Anyway. It's cheaper than building a brand new place.
We'll see what happens, it will all work out the way that it should.
