Spring seems to have arrived in our sleepy town. I don't say it too loud for fear that I will invoke the snow gods again...The same reason as why I haven't put away the boots and snowsuits and mittens....I don't want to tempt fate.
But today, with my tulips poking a good 4 inches out of the ground, and the backyard mud-slide dried to a tolerable dirt-mess instead, it feels just like Spring.
There are homeowners raking Winter's debris from all the nook and crannies of their yards, and robins flying together, kids writing with chalk on the roads and winter coats (the human AND animal kinds) being shed.
I love this time of year. It's like morning, after a long deep (cold) sleep.
Summer is my favorite season, I love the beach and lazy days and full greenery. But today I am embracing Spring....
I'm feeling very at peace. I'm working on some plans, and feeling like I'm finally heading in the right direction.
Here are some words by Anthony Robbins to spark your own changes...
"How am I going to live today in order to create the tomorrow I'm committed to? "
"Remember, a real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.
“The truth of the matter is that there's nothing you can't accomplish if: (1) You clearly decide what it is that you're absolutely committed to achieving, (2) You're willing to take massive action, (3) You notice what's working or not, and (4) You continue to change your approach until you achieve what you want, using whatever life gives you along the way.”
Thanks for checking in.
Happy Spring!!
