It's Saturday afternoon, I've just finished all of my chores....like a good Cinderella.The laundry, the dog beds, the mopping of muddy doggy footprints off the floors...
I'm about to head to the shower and start getting ready for a wedding reception for my cousin tonight.
Last night my mother and sister and I went to the casino in the city and I came out the doors a whopping $110 richer. Woo Hoo! I don't usually go to the casino, I think I may have been to this one 3 times, but it was a nice evening out.
We didn't get home until 1:30, and tonight will be another late night I'm sure.
I'll be in recovery-mode for a week.
We had a rainfall advisory for today, but I guess it's passed. Thank goodness. The sun is out now, and it's much easier to go out without the rain messing up your hair and make up.
Hubby will be home Wednesday afternoon, and I can't wait to see him. He's anxious to get home as well. We will have a date night for our anniversary last week, I think we may go to the movies to see Fast and Furious...maybe for dinner...we'll see.
I have a relatively busy week coming up, which is good. All packed into the three scheduled days, although I will have 2 evening appointments to do, nothing too late though.
And then Easter. Ty asked me today if the Easter Bunny would bring batteries for his toy drill because it doesn't work. I said "What happened to it?" and he replied, "Me had too much fun." The kid kills me!
Alright...time to switch the last load of laundry, make some nacho dip for the kids and my niece for tonight and then I'm off to try and make myself presentable for the reception.
