Sitting here basking in thanksgiving. Thanks to stargazzer my car is back to being operational. I can go someplace!!!! I am getting a package ready for mailing after which I will pick up some supplies. I have suffered with backaches this week but did actually start the process of changing my flat tire yesterday morning out in the driveway. Long story short, I hit a tree limb on friday that had fallen in the road and as I had briefly taken my eyes off the road to check out a yard sale sign, I could not serve in time to avoid it and so hit it with my right front tire. It blew out later in the day, actually at night when I was driving up to Mom's. Since it already had a hole in it, pretty visible too, I went ahead and drove it back home. Well, now I have the spare on thanks to my brother and it was like a lifeline in a deep deep well... I could never have changed it myself as we found out the threads were stripped on the post/lug nut and had to be sawed off with an electric saw. So now I am sitting here listening to Matt Redman's "Blessed be the name of the Lord". the trials in life tend to magnify the enjoyments of success. I am basking. Please let it last for awhile! Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
