It is what we can make of the mess we have made of things.

19 Sep 2006 - and...
the garden has seemed so empty this past week since the monarch butterflies have moved on. only a few bumblebees can be seen out and about on the sedum each afternoon. the brightness is fading from its blooms. but it does make a beautiful flower even when the flowerheads are faded and dried. it is hard not to like sedum in any of its stages.
here is a pic of one of my favorite wildflowers which grows abundantly about my place. i have always loved this flower. for one thing it is in shades of pink, and it has lovely green shaded leaves, and seems to just twine around most days. *smile* a sure boost to the spirits.
~~Lady's Thumb, Redleg, or Smartweed~~
Description : Polygonum persicaria
I have been working on a lot of different projects and it seems there are not enough hours to go around. blogging, gardening, building another website, ebaying, on and on, so much to do and so little time and sometimes, so little energy. i have started on a new healthier daily regimen though. time will tell...but, i have high hopes this time.
thanks for stopping by. i hope your week is going great!
