Success is relative:
It is what we can make of the mess we have made of things.

~T. S. Eliot~

7 Sep 2006 - early morning Thursday
Last night's moon shone down through the bedroom window so gentle and mild. I had to keep looking up as I read. I believe it was more beautiful than ever. It seemed to wrap its beauty around me erasing every care and worry. It is a very rare thing to be able to lie down and sleep as soundly as I did last night. Tonight it will be full, The Full Corn Moon. I am looking forward to seeing if it is more beautiful than it was last night.

I have been up very early watching the day awaken. A very silent daybreak, gone are the numerous twitterings that filled the early hours in summer. It seemed almost deafening , the birds so happy singing, maybe they were trying to brighten the heat filled days. Now it seems too silent.

I have enjoyed reading this morning while having toast and hot tea. There is nothing like the first cup of hot tea!

Here is a pic I took of my garden yesterday. A marigold in full bloom.
