So, i sit here watching the seconds fall away 'til my birthday! this year i advance into a new age grouping!!! oh woe is me!!! now to decide if i should sit here and watch the seconds drop away or if i should get up and go about my day? decisions, decisions. *smile*well, i think i will stay seated a while longer, it is 112 according to the thermometer out by the kitchen window, that is in full sun. i am melting, melting, melting....
i did have to make an emergency run into town today for an rx. sitting in the line at the drive though window bout did me in.
i read on another blog about freezing water in plastic pop bottles and after frozen using them to make the bed cooler at night....i am trying that tonight. it has been unbearable in this heat to sleep, and thoughts of a familly of black bears moving through the valley keep me from sleeping out under the open skies.
while in town i stopped at the grocery store for a few items, a lady in there made the remark 'can you imagine not having an air conditioner on a day like today?" well, lady! welcome to my world, news flash for you lady!!!! there are actually people in this world that do not have air conditioning. and i am one of them.
but to help endure ignoramous comments like that i can only think to myself when everyone else opens their big ole electric bill next month and pass out from the huge numbers lined up under the total column, i will be sitting in the shade here along this holler road, sipping ice tea on the rocks, and reading a much smaller electric bill....
so hah! this blanket of sweat i am wearing will pay off in the long run........hehe,
not that i wouldn't love to have air conditioning,
it is just annoying when people make such stupid statements.
anyway, my birthday nears and the grumpiness grows and grows , hehe.... especially today in this heat.
i am thinking it will be with much effort for me to remain filled with such SWEETNESS as normal as i age, slowly i am coming to grips with that knowledge, i had hoped to age gracefully, sigh ........
thaks for stopping by and i hope your glass is full and frosty.
