Success is relative:
It is what we can make of the mess we have made of things.

22 Jul 2006 - 1002entries
this is my 1002nd entry. it is hard for me to believe i have written that many entries. seems like a lot ...

out beyond the yard stretching across the back field, the blue chickory, wild blackberries, queen anne's lace, butterfly weed, milkweed, and so many more grow in the summer sun. it is such a delight to see the many colors of summer. the sunsets in the evening are filled with shades of pink while the sun looks like a big orange beach ball as it sinks down behind the western pines.

we have been seeing 3 young fawns out in the evenings along the mountain road. even a slight movement on my part sends them all scampering out of sight. they are a delight to encounter. they seem to be found most evenings out along the road where some volunteer corn is growing down over the side of the bank. i hope to get a quick pic of them soon.

i have a ton of stuff to do today. i can hear the clock ticking way too fast.

thanks for stopping by. enjoy the weekend.

welcome
