It's that time of year again when the roses are blooming and the garden is filled with wonderful fragrance. This is the old-fashioned rose blooming down along the driveway This is another old-fashioned rose that is blooming in many places in my garden. It has been very hard to capture the real beauty of this rose. My pictures do not do either rose justice. But, both pictures are the best I could do. It is a beautiful sun-filled day in the valley. I have a multitude of perennials blooming. Yellow missouri primrose, job's tears, roses, still a few iris, plus some lilies are getting to the blooming stage. I am wanting to plant some annuals soon. MOstly zinnias, petunias, and marigolds. I have a lot of plants that were divided to set out in other places. I really need to make this a priority as it seems it is not getting down very fast.
