A lot of changes have taken place over these past 5 years for me personally. I have come to terms with some of the weeds in my garden. I no longer blame myself for a failed marriage. It takes 2 to make a good marriage. I and my children have all experienced a lot of growth, disappointments, and successes. Health problems have appeared and been dealt with by members of my family. Lots of changes there but, I will not go into today. Overall, I can not complain. My goal is to take it one day at a time and always to acknowledge Him in all my ways so He will direct my paths. I fall so very short of this attempt most days. Things go much better though when I do acknowledge Him and let Him guide my way. I still battle some major weeds in my garden but a lot of the most bothersome weeds have been pulled and destroyed! WAY TO GO!!! YA!!!! So anyway, thank you deardiary for allowing me to write here for the past 5 years. And thank you dear readers for reading my feeble ramblings. Although some cherished readers have fallen away over the years , and are truely missed, others have remained and new ones appear so overall it has been a grand experience. Anyway, June is right around the corner!!!! I can't complain about that!!! 30 May 2006 - yellow iris pic This is one of Mom's yellow iris. I plan on taking a nature walk later in the day and hopefully taking a few more pics. My sister made something like it for her Memorial Day picnic and it was a huge success. This recipe sounds similar and maybe even the same. Thanks for the comments.
