Dad - my father, 49, driving instructor.
Mum - my mother, 46, housewife.
Raleigh - my younger sister, 20, has just finished university.
Friends from Melbourne
Tin - one of my friends from my group at school. She's 23 and is now working for the Victorian government.
John - another school friend. He's 24 and doing a phD in biomedicine.
Kirsty - she's 23, one of my friends from school. She is currently living in Canberra and working for Centrelink.
Carrie - 22, yet another friend of mine from my group at school. Originally from Sri Lanka, she has now moved to Perth to study medicine there.

Ruby - English, another Nova teacher, 22.
Joella - another former housemate, English, 24.
Samu - one of my Japanese friends, in his late 30s, is some kind of engineer and not without his creepy moments.
Celeste - current housemate who has just moved in, 21, English.
Zia - my former housemate who now lives in Sydney again, 25, one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
Midori - one of my Japanese friends, 20, painfully pretty.
The Boy - my boyfriend, 26, officially a computer programmer but really does anything, currently on a working holiday in Australia.
Keiko - one of my Japanese friends, in her late 30s and inclined to fuss over me but still lovely.
Tanya - Canadian, another Nova teacher, 22.
Online friends and acquintances
Phillip - an ex-boyfriend, he now lives in California with his girlfriend, her son, and their baby.
Michael - my first online boyfriend. 22, is in the US army, I think he's still in Anaheim. I don't think we're friends anymore - apparently, not giving him something cheap on MUD #1 meant I "betrayed our friendship"
Jackie - one of my online buddies. She's 17, lives in Sydney.
Janie - one of my online friends. She's 17, from Sydney.
Kiro - one of my online friends. He's 18, from Singapore.
George - he's a good friend of mine, online as well as offline. He's 18 and goes to college in Los Angeles.
Karen - one of my greatest friends. She's 16, lives in New Jersey.
Andrew - our characters on a MUD were once lovers and he has decided he is love with me. About 31 and American.
Lucie - one of my online friends, she's 17 and from Sydney.
Shue - another friend, she's 17 and from Sydney.
Nathan - an ex-boyfriend, he is 32 now, lives in Manchester and is in a wheelchair.
