Current time in my woods
9 Apr 2009 - Portugese Dreams, My Reality
One shouldn’t mind me ranting mad in my place, I'm venting off my worst part so that I’ll get to keep the better one :-)

So far so good, my vacation goes on…and on…and on…like a scratched vinyl record, that plays one song and on the same place right after the chorus the needle grinds across the plastic and starts the song again…until the same chorus moment…

Imagine an ocean…in his calm. Peaceful waves breathe onto the shore, licking the toes of the rocks, leaving them wet and dripping with desire for a touch of a sun …imagine far away lands, unfamiliar places, stranger’s cultures…imagine walking along the ocean’s line and watching him from the cliffs…imagine exploring mystery ruins of Sagres Point…or perhaps, a lazy afternoon in the street café, Alvarinho in your glass, foreign speech…a laugh that needs no translation…hot southern tans and seducing smiles of Portuguese boys…imagine all that…

Well, this are the holidays I would choose to have, should I have a chance. There is no harm in dreaming, is there?...not really…and I’m having a Totally Domesticated Time and dreaming of a Portuguese shoreline, rough cliffs and sandy beaches, all the while having catch-up-with-routine house bound vacations. Gee, I hate to change my habits, I feel uncomfortable, these clothes are too tight for me…but anyway, it is what it is and I’m having a busy time catching up with things I postponed for a long times which haven’t reduce their importance to be done all as well. I also have to make a notice of the fact that when your mind has nothing new to be occupied with, he tends to occupy himself with rather crappy thoughts and rubbish ideas…strange coincidence huh…rubbish holidays, bullshit on your mind…meh…whatever.

Once it’s out of your chest, it doesn’t really look that bad anymore. And I guess, it is all for the better. Some time there should be time for clearing out your mind just the same way as you do with your house. A Spring Cleaning…what a fun…anybody for a Crazy Naked Maiden Spring Ritual Dance around that voodoo fire? And oi…don’t stare at me like I’m insane or what or I will cast a spell on you and turn you into a frog. There is a noticable shortage of the ready-made Frogs lately.
