Yesterday Mason's class got to go on a field trip to the preforming Arts Center to see the Moscow Circus. I volunteered to be a chaparone. It was a good preformance but I'm not sure if a bunch of 5 year olds really understood the magnitude of the preformance. I think 5 year olds are more into elephants, lions, and silly clowns. The Moscow Circus had the silly clown but nothing else. It is just acrobats preforming. Everyone was clapping at the feats that the performers were doing but it was only the adults in the audience that were like "WOW" at how flexible everyone was. They did have one act were it was one of the performers and cute little dog. When the kids were asked what did they like most about the performance everyone answered the dog act because I believe that was more on their level. I wish we would get a regular circus up here. I think Mason would really love to go to one.
Mason did really well on the field trip and he was even in my group. He actually listened to me which was a wonderful thing. I really don't know what I'm going to do about him listening to me. I mean I am his mother. He should be listening to me. I shouldn't have to threaten to call daddy or get daddy in order to get him to listen to me. Maybe I don't seem as threatening to him as daddy is. I hate raising me voice but that seems to be the only way I can get him to listen to me. I feel like I'm yelling at him all the time. Hopefully this is something he will grow out of.
The weather right now is extremely cold. So cold that my car hasn't started in two day. I went outside yesterday morning to warm my car up so I could head to Mason's school and it wouldn't start so I had to take Mike's car. Mike plugged it in but that didn't work. I went out last night with my good friend Brad and I went to go start my car again to warm it up and it wouldn't start so I had to take Mike's car again. I went outside today because my car was plugged in and I wanted to see if it would start today. I guess there must be something wrong with my block heater because Mike said that it was getting power but it still won't start. If it doesn't start tomorrow morning I will have to miss church and my parents will have to bring Michael home. I would take Mike to work and use his car but I can't get Michael's wheelchair in his car along with both kids so that is why I have to miss church tomorrow. I hope it warms up by Tuesday and my car starts because Mason has swimming and I really don't want him to have to miss his lessons.
