'Belize Sunset'

"The most alluring clouds that mount the sky,

Owe to a troubled element their forms,

Their hues to sunset.

If with raptured eye We watch their splendour,

shall we covet storms..."

quote excerpted from miscellaneous sonnets, II

by William Wordsworth 1888

19 Jul 2007 - What Happened on Todays Date
I landed at Heathrow Airport in London at about 10:30am, I was really excited because I was finally going to meet Joe. When I first exited the plane I had to figure out where to go, to show my passport to gain entry into the country, but I figured that out quite easily. After that I needed to head to baggage and collect my bags, and from there I headed out to the lobby area where I knew Joe would be.

It had been 2 1/2 yrs since I met him on the internet and fell in love with him and married him in Second Life...

I was finally going to be able to meet him in person.

Because our love story was of so much interest to the media, I would be met by some reporters and the people from Films of Record who were filming a documentary series that was made for broadband for ITV ( a British television station ). It was for ITV's WebLives series.

I knew they would be there waiting for me, as they had paid for my flight over and wanted to film Joe and I together, meeting for the first time.

I'll never forget the moment I saw Emma, and I jumped up and down and hugged her, and she explained to me what was going to happen, and how I was going to meet Joe.... I was so happy to finally be meeting her!

She works for Films of Record and was the person who I had the most contact with while our documentary was being filmed. Even though a camera man had come to California to film me, I had spent most of my time on the phone, in emails and on cam in voice with Emma, and looked forward to finally meeting her.

She hooked me up to a microphone and I waited.... waited to finally meet Joe.

forgotten things (22316 bytes)'Forgotten Things'

"Moreover, something is or seems,

That touches me with mystic gleams,

Like glimpses of forgotten dreams--

Of something felt, like something here;

Of something done, I know not where;

Such as no language may declare."

Quote excerpted from "The Two Voices"

by Alfred Lord Tennyson
