Entry 2 of April 7, 2018

Okay…what a day!  Honestly, all morning at church I wanted to fall asleep and take a nap.  I had gotten tired all of a sudden.  Is it the weather?  I found out that my IRIS workers DKF and AR were also tired today as well. DKF does not work with me on the weekend anymore, but I did get to see her this morning before church.  Her plans to be here tomorrow was set, but she texted me around 5 PM tonight that she is not going to make it, and I find that just fine.  We communicate often outside her working for me anyway.  AR was here from 5 PM to 8 PM, and I will be heading to bed right after this entry.  I am tired and cannot keep my eyes open any longer.  The idea of taking a nap did not happen today, which is great because then I will/should sleep well tonight…I hope I do.

Entry 1 of April 7, 2018

I know it has been a while since I have written in my diary.  I have been a very gal this week.  On Monday I had laundry done.  On Tuesday I went to get my nails done, get my hair cut, go grocery shopping, and then came home and had groceries put away.  On Wednesday, I went on a date with my boyfriend KB, and Friday, my IRIS worker cooked some meals, and made a fruit pizza for potluck after church this afternoon.  Today is Sabbath and I have a little bit of time to write before personal cares around 8 AM this morning.  Usually, I do not have personal cares in the afternoon on Saturdays now, but I have asked DKF to come by today to help me get my hair spiffy for church this morning now that I have it cut short.  Otherwise AR will be here this evening early around 5 PM to 8 PM.  Not writing in my diary since April 2, has given me some time to play catch up once again, but from now on, I am not going to be doing that anymore.  It can be a little tedious at times.

I do have a Burbank Plaza update…sort of.  More so a vent session actually.  I have come to appreciate the solitude of my apartment the past year and a half (or so) without being bothered by tenants and their social groups or cliques, and the idea of not being a part of everything going on at the building satisfies me very much.  I am too busy too busy to be a part of nonsense these days anyway.  I also do not want to get sick when other tenants are out there coughing and hacking, sniffling, or sounding hoarse when I have my own health issues to worry about right now.  This morning, not knowing who it is, or do I want to know who it was, a tenant was coughing and wheezing in the lobby of the building.  Who knows…allergies or a spring cold.  When I do not feel good, I follow the rules of the manager has placed on this building, I stay in my apartment.  I do not understand others who do not stay in their apartments when their sick or not feeling good.  Who would want someone else’s germs?  Not me…no way!  Life at Burbank Plaza can be whatever you want it to be and my life is not on the other side of the apartment door for a very good reason.  I will respect my elders and parents at all times, but when it comes to not following the rules of apartment living annoys me.

What are your plans for today?  Personal cares and getting dressed for the day for church, some time alone before IRIS time with AR this evening, and time with Bing Crosby the Cat.
