Today

My world today clashed with the world today. It was not nice to hear about the shuttle exploding this morning. Usually during Sabbath I do not have the television on, but I was listening to the news in regards to the shuttle explosion after my friend had called me in regards to the news. In fact, I did not know anything about the news coverage until Mark had called. What a SAD tragedy. My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one from the shuttle.

My day was very quiet otherwise. I did not have my computer on at all Friday because I was not feeling well. I am not sure if I had the twenty-four hour flu or a touch of food poisoning. Whatever it really was, it was horrible and nuts here. I threw up several times until bedtime. Anyway…I am feeling better now, except for the headache bit.

Been Sick Again

I got sick again Thursday evening. Had gotten the stomach flu or I ate some chicken that was not prepared right. I had eaten a chicken sandwich at lunch at school and I think was not cooked all the way through but I am not sure at this time. There is a possibility that I had the stomach flu – the 24 hr bug – too but I am not sure right now. Anyway, it was yucky and horrible.

The Shuttle

I had gotten a call about 11 a.m. – otherwise I would not have heard about it until after Sabbath – about the shuttle exploding while the shuttle was fifteen minutes away from landing. Debris is all over some areas in Dallas, Fort Worth. Sad! I don’t know what to think about it otherwise that is sad. I did not lose a loved one this shuttle but seven families did lose a loved one and there is sadness now. My heart does gp ou to those who did lose a family member. Sadness is in the U.S. agaim. The last time a shuttle exploded was in 1986 when I was in my freshman year in high school on January 28, 1986! Wow!
