Today was my first day back to college since the later 90’s! As far as the first day awent, I do hace to admit that my first day of school went well and I thought it was great. I did go to bed early last night and had awakened to my alarm clock going off at 5:45 a.m. to myself going and off to school by a certain time. I had left my apartment, leaving Emilee, my cat, behind for a few hours for the first time in a long time. The time I left was at 6:40 a.m. in order to get the bus I needed to get to school at 7:15 a.m.! Yes, I have been up since 5:45 a.m. this morning now, and i am definitely going to bed within an hour and sleep in since i don’t have to be at school tomorrow for anything special but Wednesday and starting next week I will be going to school often to study and get homework done as studying at home is distracted by watching television or being on the computer! Also, I have to have time for Emilee who does not see my most of the day, several hours during the day I am away at school.
I do have to admit that I really like my classes, Business Law and Ecnomics very much! A lot of work is needed to pass the classes but I know I can do it if I put my mind to it…and there is no doubt that I am going to stick with it and do my best even on my bad days. I am not give up!! NEVER
As far as my first day, I did have the jitters and a bit of anxiety that put me in a world of confusion for a few minutes of my life, but both passed in due time. As far as my feelings go regarding the jitters, I do have to say that I felt wet with perspiration in the forehead and arms. At first i thought that people would think I was having a diabetic attack or something to that affect. My hands were beading with wetness and they felt warm with a fever-like feeling that I have felt many times before. As the perspiration was roling down my face, as if I walked into a chamber of fire, the wetness stung my eyes terribly. OUCH!!!
Despite the short moment of the jitters and anxiety, I am still here and I have survived my first day of classes at blackhawk Technical College in Wisconsin. Wednesday will be another day of hard work and study!!!!
