Reading Other Entries

I do have to admit that I love to read journals and books. Here, at DD, I enjoy reading other writers’ journals to see what they are feeling and doing in their lives to make their lives productive. I have a selected few I do read on a regular basis and those people are real neat. It is not easy at times for me to write my personal stuff about life on the net because the whole world does not need to know my personal life. What you read is what you get, too personal or not. I am very very careful writing my most intimate thoughts on the net because the whole world can see and read. What I am sharing this month – in October – are memories that are both personal and not because I know I am not the only person who has gone through what I have gone through and what I am about to go through in life. From reading journals tonight I have found that some people have a good way of expressing themselves openly and share their thoughts with other people who have probably gone through or understand what goes on in life.

Well, it is going on 10:30 pm here on Wednesday night of the 3rd for me and it is time for me to sign off for the night. I know when you read my journal entries it will be the 4th. I have a lot of things to do tomorrow before 3 p.m. so I am logging off now for the night and I will be back on the 5th of October sometime if time allows. I know I will not be here on Saturday writing until late. Gotta run and go to bed now. Bye for now everyone.

The Way Things Are Going Right Now…

The way things are going right now, I am so glad that my grandma is not physically here now and the fact that my grandfather is in a nursing home with alzhiemer’s disease makes it so much easier to cope with the problems that are faced daily. It does soound horrible I know, but both grandparents have seen their share of wars, crimes, problems, and disasters while they were young and lively. I don’t think my grandparents, truly, thought that they would even see their grandchildren go through a wartime period, but they were wrong to some degree. Yes, my grandma is no longer with us, and my grandpa is in a nursing home with a memory issue to deal with daily. No – they are not going to remember this wartime we are having right now. The way things are going on right now I am glad that my grandparents, on both sides of the family, are unable to really know anything. My dad’s parents died in 1974 and 1985 and so they have been gone for a very long time both of them. Sometimes things are better left alone and kept quiet I guess.
