here’s one i started covering recently ( I sing it a bit higher)… called UNION STATION

So I was Being all crummy because it was going to be the first new year eve in 5 years, that I did not have plans of what to do. For the last several years, I’ve played with the band *Fish Fry Bingo* but since i’m apparently no longer in that band, I haven’t gotten out yet… to find what to do. There are sure to be a good bunch of bands in the dallas Area that are looking for a Fiddlist. I just have not been pushing myself to find any.

So I was in Second life and I got a message from someone I’ve played music with in there, and out here. In that word he goes by *Guitar Zane* and is a well known music community *Rock Star* in there. Out here, things are a bit less dramatic. He is a working musician and he is in a band. They don’t gig terribly often, probably once and sometimes twice a month… anyhoo… I love the style and playing with his band is almost a perfect fit for me.

So, he sends me a message.. “you gigging on new years eve”

and I said “nope”

and he said if i can drive the 2.5 hours to get to where he lives, the venue in Real life is not far and i can spend the night afterwards ( and assorted other things having to do with making money).

So here I am, the morning after. It was a heck of a lot of fun. I didn’t get like… drunk, nor did I pull any insane gymnastic stunts since my right shoulder is still recovering from a pinched nerve. Im the only one awake in the house. Zane and his *Real* Wife, are asleep, so are two of their friends (one played ass last night) I’m awake. my mind is not settled yet.. it will be shortly.

I’m hanging out watching “angel” the series on netflix. I love how they constantly make fun of his broodyness. It’s the thing I can’t stand about him. I’m on episode 5. It’s got me reeled in by using other Buffy characters that I love to hate. Wooo angel is the first. Cordelia is the second. I’m not sure about the new guy. I’ll let ya know

I played 2 live shows today. The first was at 9 am and it was a solo show. The second was a long distance relay with Matthew from ” the Matthew show”. I feel totally fine physically but for some reason I threw up after the second show. Now I’m just taking it easy even though I feel guilty for not being at candle lightings that are happening at second life synagogue. Maybe I’ll jump back in there.
