The children are squirming with delight, because there is going to be another member of this family. There already is actually, he was born 6 weeks ago. But, he’d been adopted even before he was born, before his mother got pregnant even. It seems to me these days that they take every dog on earth and mix it up with a poodle and make a new dog. Well, apparently they found “the darned tootinest coolest family dog who will kill the robbers but let your kids friends ride on them” breed of Standard Poodle, and Golden Retriever. The name of this cross breed is “Golden Doodle” which i think is pretty funny. They are very pricey too, as we have been on a waiting list for his adoption for over a year. Carole is the one who wanted the dog, and katie their previous dog was still alive back then, but was obviously not doing well. Katie was one of them “child ‘bitin terrier uppity ” dogs. My mo had one, and he was ok but really i wanna see my kids rolling around with a combnation standard poodle and retriever in the living room. Carole didn’t child proof the house when my kids came to live here, they were 2 and 4. I bet you a dollar and 46 cents that all those yardro thingies end up in the attic by october 15, not to come down until 2009. Chris is here and we are all together. It is nice. I built a sukkah inside my synagogue in second life. well it’s not inside as more “outside ” since it’s a sukkah, the Synagogue’s sanctuary though is not separated from the porch area that isn’t covered most of the time. Last night I had events posted and people came to the sukkah. One person crafted a lulav ( a very very good lulav) for SLS (second life synagooue). Another who I never met cam in one day and made the etrog. All the things the Shul has made are in a dispenser so that you can just click it and it hands you the sidur, the shofar, the 5 kippot, the lulav and etrog, and a notecard with information about the shul. Last night I made “events” thre in the sukkah, and a lot of people came. It is a beautiful sukkah.
Chag sameach!
