Been a long path but back blowing leaves not snow , driving again and doing yard work a bit slower but getting it done . We were under a Tornado warning last TUES with high winds and very heavy rain but no damage other than lots of tree limbs I got picked yesterday. I now have a implanted difibulaor which is also a smart pacemaker

that also monitors the thing in middle of nite while I sleep. So far it has not triggered any out of limits .Other than that about back to normal execet having a catheter to wear that I hope to be rid of. MsDaisy (wife) Has a few procedures Coming up to find cause of Pain in her side that Xrays have been clear of cause. So we hope to get to bottom of next couple weeks.Ican hardly wait for all this negitive election adds to be over.

It does, effect one to part with some things that have so many memories. Today I parted with a few guns that I Know I will never take to the field again. They put a lot of
food on the table and so many lastings memories with buddies no longer to go a field with. It was hard but the kind of things one should not leave for another to do. I still have a few I can not bring myself to part with as they are special and some I can still put game on the table with the best of hunters. The strange part is they are years old like me and bought when times and money were very dear but today they sold for three times what I paid then and some much more.
Strange feelings and thoughts of does that mean as we age are we worth more now than before ??

A update on my love (msdaisy) It has been a little over a year now that her stroke kind of took over our lives but today marks a milestone . So much of pass year has been many follow up and additional tests and she really has regained most all normal active life. I (HOAK) have been the driver . Some issues like her short term memory and her left eye vision will not likely improve. She had a cataract removed in right eye and today we got new glasses that really improved the vision. I will now trust her to drive again long as she stays away from heavy traffic streets in town. It will sure help that she can go for monthly blood thinner check and other medicial checkup, for I really need to do some fishing.
How ever the Dustbunny keeps on trucking but a tad slower.

After watching all the lines to VOTE on TV you will be pleased to know that. 8 mile from house our polling place at the Rural Fire Dept was a gift. Walked right in not a person ahead signed in got Ballot Voted and out in less than 3 minutes. Very easy to use touch machine and paper print out copy.
Now the Rest of the Story. To obtain a sample ballot you have to go to county election office where because of the early voting it was a 35 minute wait. This is crazy as each precient has different people running.
I miss the way Calif sends a sample ballot to each registered voter in the mail, boy does this help .

Last evening we attended my 60th. Class reunion. As most of last 40years we have been in other parts of country, but have made it back to a few reunions IT is hard to put names to faces. It was Lash High Class 48.
It is a strange awaking some very warm feelings and others mixed with sadness. We were a class of 280 and have lost over 104 to life’s hardships. To be honest it is kind of depressing to take the Comus and put faces and Names of those we lost and the others at the reunion. Age has not been kind to many but it was strange most knew Daisy and I so we must have held up well. There seems a question as if Committee will have a 65th reunion for those that need to travel do not reply or it has been just too damn hard anymore. We have a number of friends that keep active in mind and living but others that just seem to withdrawl in a dull life. So anyhow it was a mixed bag the good ,bad, and ugly.
Reunions seem to have this effect on me but a must if you are part of LIFE.
