Welcome to my online journal. Why am I here? I have yet to determine the exact reason myself. However, I did want to create a special place to record thoughts, keep notes, and save other written things that I hold dear to my heart for one reason or another. A "Book of many Things", if you will. I feel a need to express my thoughts, practice my writing, and record certain events, as well as escape some of life's realities. While I know there is more to this journal than meets the eye, even I don't know where this journey will take me. Ms. Lauren is the pen name I chose for myself before becoming married to my wonderful husband. Regardless of now being Mrs., I continue to keep my former nom de guerre as it gives me an identity of my own separate from just simply "his wife". I'm very fortunate to be married to a man who, like me, is confident enough in himself and in our relationship that he has no problem with me being me. (This is just one of the many reasons I love him so very much!) Perhaps one might find themselves lost while reading through my thoughts and ramblings, but I welcome anyone who finds themselves interested or amused to read my entries. Please keep in mind, however, that my entries are written for me, myself, and I. The fact that I've given others the ability to read my thoughts does not mean I'm doing so as a means of entertaining the general public. Therefore, being armed with this knowledge, please know on occasion details will be left out for whatever reason and facts will oftentimes be sketchy. I've learned the art of writing in riddles and rhymes, encryption that only I can decode, and I've learned it well. Yours Truly, Ms. Lauren
